The Palace and Casino was starting to see more business, before the funeral procession incident. After 1pm yesterday afternoon, the military started stopping customers from being able to go through and do business with the palace and casino. Then they sent their rumor mongers to the palace and casino, to tell the workers that business is slow again, because of the Onkwehonwe that chose to move forward and bury their dead elder on the island (Kahweno:ke aka cornwall island aka northern Akwesasne). I spoke with friends and they realize that this is another dirty political trick, with hopes to divide our community, our families, and our friends and get us blaming each other. We all know that it is the usa government agents and the canadian agents and the cbsa that is blocking our roads, stopping our business, and stopping us from travelling and roaming in our own community freely though.
