The media and the public are all welcome to attend. Please phone to reserve your seating at (518) 358-6028. The following information will be presented with a dinner and movie!

The best well-kept secret for twelve years is the litigation in federal courts of a number of Native Americans against the New York State Police. The lawsuit is the result of violations of Federal, State Internal and administrative law by the New York State Police. In a number of decisions and appeals, New York State has been unable to receive immunity for their responsibility in the role they played in a brutal attack upon Native American People protesting taxation schemes of New York State.

In 1997 in Onondaga Territory, a gathering of Native American People had planned to burn tobacco to ask the Creator for spiritual help. The People of the Confederacy were protesting tax agreements that the Nation Councils and Tribal Councils were making with New York State, The Native American People felt they had a right to be heard and participate in decisions being made with New York State. People felt their input was being ignored through a vail of supremacy New York State gave to a the Councils in exchange for cooperation. editor’s note: tribal councils and nation councils are government agencies forcefully imposed onto Native Americans.

Earlier, the Keepers of the Western Door (Seneca Nation) defended their People against New York State Taxation through a show of protest that was followed by attacks by the New York State Police as well. The People and leadership of the Seneca Nation actively and physically defended their lands and People and New York State Police could not reach the women and children inland. New York State Police angered by the defense of the Seneca Nation with their non-native Allies in the Western Region decided to get revenge on the Peaceful Protesters in Onondaga Territory.

The New York State Police, without warning to the peaceful protestors, and in a clear demonstration of their hatred for Native ]Americans, proceeded unto private property viciously attacked all the people who had gathered including, an elderly medicine women, a disabled child whose legs were in casts and other men, women and non-Native American Media who had gathered to protest NYS taxation.

This vicious attack displayed a total disregard for rights of Native Americans to express their opinions as is guaranteed by the Constitution of the United States. The NYSP detail conspirators of Native American descent the attack that would avenge the Seneca resistance and force the Native Americans into taxation.

New York State Police hatred for Native Americans was very evident when multiple policemen attacked the feared unarmed and peaceful Native American Men with batons, fists and feet. They actively looked for specific Native American Activists and they openly declared that the Indians needed “an ass kicking”. They joked at making sure every Trooper had a baton.

A copy of the latest court decision aand a viewing of a movie displaying the attack will be available at Sunflower East on Thursday, November 12, 2009. 6:00 PM. Please call and reserve a seat so we’ll know how many to set up for.
